Create Wallet
Detailed step-by-step guide.
Open the didPass Wallet app installed on your phone. Wait for the download process to complete if you're opening the app for the first time. Click the “Get Started” button.
Click on the "Create wallet" button. didPass Wallet will show the Terms and Conditions. You should read them first. If you agree, click the “I Accept The Terms and Conditions” button.
Enter your desired wallet PIN. Re-enter your PIN to confirm it.
The wallet will display a request to set up biometrics. If you prefer not to, click “Skip” and you will proceed to the login page. If you agree, click “Next” and please follow the instructions to setup biometrics.
The wallet will display the login page and will show various login methods that the user desires.
If the user chooses to Log in with Biometrics/PIN, the wallet will proceed to the identity build process.
If the user chooses Social Media, the wallet will provide the social media options the user wants to use for login.
Please wait until the building identity process is completed.
The wallet displays a backup request page before using the wallet. It's highly recommended to back up your wallet at this stage.
You can select the “Skip” button to not continue the initial backup process.
You can select the “Back up Wallet” button to continue the wallet backup process.
The wallet will display the “Your recovery phrase” page.
Follow the instructions to write it down and store it in a safe place.
Click the “Continue” button to verify your recovery phrase and select the word following the requested number.
Then click the “Go to Home” button.
Once the didPass wallet is successfully created, the didPass Wallet dashboard will appear.
